Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional or private caregiving experience working with seniors or adults with disabilities.
- A compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to providing quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutritious meal planning.
- Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction.
- Providing medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
- Assisting with mobility and activities of daily living.
- Performing light housekeeping to help maintain a clean and safe home.
- Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, and activities.
- Encouraging activities that promote mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
- Communicating important changes in a client’s condition or needs to the appropriate team member.
- Following each client’s individualized care plan and Caring Senior Service policies.
