Caregiver – 12-Hour Day & Night Shifts | Bedford, TX
About The Position
Always Best Care Senior Services is hiring dependable, compassionate, and experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one care for a client in their private residence in Bedford, Texas. The client is friendly and enjoys conversation, and has mild cognitive impairment and is considered a fall risk. Caregivers must be attentive, confident assisting with mobility, and able to provide hands-on support. The home has frequent cigarette smoke exposure, and applicants must be comfortable working in that environment. The position offers 12-hour daytime or overnight shifts, with weekday and weekend opportunities. Caregivers may be available for consistent weekday shifts, weekend shifts, or a combination. The company seeks to match caregivers with clients whose personalities, needs, and schedules are a good fit.
Requirements
- Experience with gait belt transfers is required.
- Comfort working in a home with heavy indoor smoking.
- Friendly, engaging personality and strong communication skills.
- Patient, dependable, and attentive to client safety.
- Ability to work independently in a private home setting.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Availability for 12-hour day or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide safe mobility assistance and gait belt transfers.
- Maintain fall prevention and safety precautions.
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.

- Assist with light housekeeping and daily routines.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition.
