About The Position

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking a caregiver to provide compassionate, one-on-one non-medical assistance to clients in their homes. The role helps seniors maintain independence and dignity through companionship, personal care support, assistance with daily living activities, and light housekeeping. The schedule varies depending on client needs, with flexible scheduling and days, evenings, weekends, and overnights available.

Requirements

• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, with proof of insurance if required for client transport.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in and out and document all tasks.
