About The Position

Almost Family is seeking compassionate, driven caregivers in Bend to provide personal care and companionship to seniors in their homes. The role involves helping clients with daily routines, monitoring their well-being, maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment, and supporting their ability to attend appointments and errands. The position pays $20–$22 per hour, with pay issued biweekly. Benefits begin at 20 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to transfer clients weighing up to 50 pounds and bend, kneel, twist, push, and pull without restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience caring for seniors or people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and preparing meals.
• Monitor clients’ well-being, document their progress, and prioritize their health needs.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and organized living environment.
• Follow health and safety policies and regulations.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Safely escort and transport clients to medical appointments and errands.
