About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to support seniors in their homes in Dalton, Massachusetts, and surrounding Berkshire County communities. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent while providing companionship and assistance tailored to their qualifications and client needs. The agency offers free caregiver training to qualified applicants, including people who are new to caregiving. Pay is $18–$21 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Immediate start opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling and shifts of 8–12 hours. A $250 sign-on bonus is available to qualified new hires who work at least 20 hours per week and have no unexcused absences during their first 90 days.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving experience is a plus but is not always required.
HHA or CNA certification is welcome.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
Prepare meals and assist with daily routines.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry, and run errands.
Provide medication reminders.
Observe and report changes in client conditions.
Deliver compassionate, respectful, dependable care that supports client safety and independence.
