Caregiver (PM Shift) Bonus Eligible - Assisted Living Community - Forest Lake
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is hiring a caregiver for its Forest Lake assisted living and memory care community. Caregivers work directly with residents to provide personalized, person-centered care and support. Applicants may be experienced or newly certified; the role is open to caregivers with CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, or NAR backgrounds. Medication administration training is provided. New team members complete four days of paid onboarding training, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center, with ongoing support and development from experienced leadership. The advertised shift is 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Part-time and full-time employees must be available to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least six months of caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass medications; training is provided.
- Team-oriented, with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
- Availability for the 2 p.m.–10 p.m. shift.
- Availability to work every other weekend for part-time and full-time schedules.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience in assisted living or memory care.
- CNA certification.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration after training.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
