Caregiver (AM Shift) - Assisted Living Community - Forest Lake
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is hiring Caregivers for its Forest Lake assisted living and memory care community. Caregivers provide personalized, person-centered support to residents, helping them with daily needs and contributing to a safe, engaging, and compassionate environment. Applicants may be experienced or newly certified; training is provided for medication administration. New team members complete a four-day onboarding program, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center, with ongoing support and development from experienced leadership. The position is available on the AM shift, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Part-time and full-time schedules are available, and all shifts must include availability to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass medications; training is provided.
- Team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience in assisted living or memory care.
- CNA certification.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration after training.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
