About The Position

Suite Living Senior Care is hiring a Caregiver for its assisted living and memory care community in Shakopee. The caregiver works directly with residents to provide personalized, person-centered care and support. Candidates may be experienced or newly certified; the listed caregiver credentials include CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, or NAR. Medication administration training is provided. New team members complete four days of paid onboarding training, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the company's Arden Hills, Minnesota training center, with ongoing support and development from experienced leadership. The position is available on a PM shift from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with part-time and full-time options. All shifts require availability every other weekend.

Requirements

• At least six months of caregiving experience.
• Ability to pass medications.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Be a team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
• Be available for the PM shift from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Be available to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

• Caregiving experience in assisted living or memory care.
• CNA certification.
• CPR/First Aid knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
• Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
• Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the leadership team.
• Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
