About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking a caregiver to support seniors in their homes in the Gettysburg, Pennsylvania area. The role may involve weekday daytime shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. If a caregiver cannot work the full 12-hour shift, the shift may be split into morning and afternoon blocks. Other shifts may also be available for pickup. The position is part-time, with the potential for additional hours if desired. Caregivers may have steady hours with one or two consistent clients and receive support from the company’s emergency staff.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of hands-on personal care experience.
• At least 6 months of bathing and toileting experience.
• Family caregiving experience is accepted.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Run errands for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Transport clients.
• Provide personal care.
• Prepare meals.
