About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring a Caregiver in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The role supports seniors in remaining safe and comfortable at home. The regular schedule is Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of transitioning to a 24/7 opportunity and picking up additional shifts based on availability. The position is part-time, with potential for more hours if desired. Visiting Angels has served seniors across Cumberland, Franklin, and Adams Counties for over 21 years and describes its work environment as supportive, with flexible and consistent scheduling. Caregivers may often work with one or two consistent clients. The company emphasizes empathy, integrity, and dedication.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of hands-on personal care experience; family caregiving experience is accepted.
- At least 6 months of bathing and toileting experience.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Run errands.
- Provide light housekeeping.

- $15.50–$16.00 per hour, based on experience.
