About The Position

Executive Home Care of North County is seeking caring and motivated caregivers who take pride in making a positive difference in clients’ lives. The role provides person-centered support, follows individualized care plans, and helps clients with personal care, medication reminders, meals, companionship, daily activities, and health monitoring. The pay rate is $19–$23 per hour. Scheduling is flexible based on caregiver availability, with shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours. Caregivers may receive consistent client assignments and work with a supportive team.

Requirements

• Must be registered as a California Home Care Aide (HCA).
• Must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.
• Be compassionate, patient, reliable, and respectful.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to follow individualized care plans and provide person-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving or related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Help clients stay on track with their prescribed medication schedules.
• Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Provide conversation and emotional support, and assist with appointments and social activities.
• Observe and communicate changes in clients’ conditions to appropriate care team members.
