About The Position

The Shift Lead delivers customer service while providing leadership to the store team. The role assists with managing store employees and ensuring company policies and procedures are followed, with a focus on creating a positive customer experience. The position is full-time, 30–40 hours per week, and requires open availability; days and times may vary and may include weekends, evenings, and some holidays. The listed location is 1500 W. State St., Boise, Idaho 83714. The role includes a $300 sign-on bonus, paid as $100 per month during the first 90 days. Starting pay varies based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications under the company’s experience-based pay guidelines. An overnight premium of $0.50 per hour applies to hours worked between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Requirements

Be at least 19 years of age.
Consent to and pass a background check.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have prior customer service experience in a retail setting.
Be able to learn new concepts, stay organized, maintain attention to detail, and multitask.
Use solution-focused thinking to address problems.
Be able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 50 pounds, and work from floor to eye level.
Be able to work in a cooler with an average temperature of 32 degrees.
Have open availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by welcoming customers, assisting with their needs, answering questions, and resolving concerns.
Clean and tidy restrooms, cooler interiors and exteriors, parking lots, fuel islands, equipment, food service areas, shelves, and storage areas.
Stock, face, and correctly price merchandise.
Manage vendor, warehouse, and fuel deliveries.
Create, submit, and edit supply orders to maintain inventory.
Assist with onboarding and training employees.
Look for ways to engage and motivate the team.
Assist in managing store employees and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
