About The Position

Halcyon Home is hiring caregivers, including CNAs and/or CMAs, to provide individualized one-on-one personal care to clients. The company is a locally owned, fast-growing home health and hospice provider that emphasizes hospitality and compassion to support positive outcomes for aging clients. Assignments serve clients in the greater Austin, San Marcos, and New Braunfels areas. Day and night shifts are available, with shift lengths ranging from 1 to 12 hours. Full-time, part-time, and PRN hours are available; caregivers must be willing to work at least 8 hours per week, which may consist of multiple short shifts. The salary range is $15–$20 per hour.

Requirements

• Be COVID vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated.
• A CNA or CMA license is a plus.
• Have a current driver's license.
• Have reliable transportation to travel to assignments.
• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions and competently perform tasks assigned by a supervisor or scheduler.
• Agree to and pass a criminal history check, an Employee Misconduct Registry check, and a three-year driving record check.
• Be willing to work at least 8 hours per week, which may consist of multiple short shifts.
• Have a desire to provide compassionate, individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Provide incontinence care and toileting assistance.
• Handle daily laundry and linens and perform light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Provide dementia and memory care.
• Offer standby assistance for walks.
• Provide transportation and run errands.
