About The Position

Halcyon Home is hiring skilled caregivers, including CNA and/or CMA candidates, to provide individualized, one-on-one personal care to clients in the greater Austin, San Marcos, and New Braunfels areas. The company emphasizes hospitality, compassion, exceptional care, and integrity to support positive outcomes for its aging clients. Day and night shifts are available, ranging from 1 to 12 hours, with full-time, part-time, and PRN hours. Caregivers must be willing to work at least 8 hours per week, which may consist of multiple short shifts.

Requirements

• Be COVID vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated.
• A CNA or CMA license is a plus.
• Have a current driver's license or state identification.
• Have reliable transportation to travel to assignments.
• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions and competently perform tasks assigned by a Supervisor or Scheduler.
• Agree to and pass a criminal history check, an Employee Misconduct Registry check, and a three-year driving record check.
• Be willing to work at least 8 hours per week, which may consist of multiple short shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Provide incontinence care and toileting assistance.
• Handle daily laundry and linens.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals.

• Offer standby assistance during walks.
• Provide transportation and run errands.
