About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking caregivers to provide essential non-medical support to seniors and adults with disabilities, helping them remain comfortable, safe, and independent at home. The role involves companionship and assistance with personal care, daily routines, household tasks, errands, and transportation. Caregivers document care and clock in and out using a smartphone.

Requirements

• Be compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Active automobile insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfort using a smartphone for documentation and clocking in and out.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with seniors or adults with disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/LNA experience or certification.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience.

Responsibilities

• Share conversation and companionship with clients.
• Help clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Run errands and shop for groceries.
• Drive clients to appointments.
• Support clients' daily routines and activities.
• Document care and clock in and out using a smartphone.
