About The Position

Aarris Homecare is seeking a Tagalog-speaking caregiver who is passionate about client well-being and values high-quality care. Caregivers may work independently in clients’ homes or at a healthcare facility, providing personal care, companionship, and emotional support. The role includes helping clients with activities of daily living and basic domestic tasks, as well as transportation and meal preparation. The position requires physical strength and stamina to assist clients safely with mobility and other care activities.

Requirements

Empathy and the ability to address clients’ social, emotional, physical, and mental needs.
Ability to respond to emergency situations.
Physical ability to reach with hands and arms.
Ability to carry, lift, or pull up to 50 pounds while avoiding injury when transferring, repositioning, or lifting patients.
Ability to occasionally push or pull objects up to 50 pounds and bend or kneel to complete activities.
Physical strength and stamina.
Commitment to providing patients with high-quality care.
Strong interest in elderly care and memory impairment disorders.
Energetic and compassionate.
Team player with strong communication skills.
CPR Certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s.
Current HCA.

Responsibilities

Provide clients with companionship, socialization, and mental stimulation.
Transport clients to and from appointments, errands, and activities.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
Assist clients with transfers and ambulation.
Provide medication reminders.
Prepare and cook meals.
