About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and veterans. The role helps clients remain safe and comfortable at home through companionship, personal care, medication reminders, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and support with daily activities. Caregivers must be willing to travel to surrounding areas within a 20-mile radius. Part-time work is available, with flexible scheduling and day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts. Orientation and training are provided.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
- Ability to travel within a 20-mile radius.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility, errands, and appointments.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
- Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
- Encourage clients’ independence and participation in daily activities.
