About The Position
Amada Senior Care is hiring compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and veterans so they can remain safe and comfortable at home. The role involves working with male and female clients and traveling to surrounding areas within a 20-mile radius. Part-time opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling and day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts. In-office orientation and paid training are provided.
Requirements
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be able to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Be willing to work with both male and female clients.
- Be able to travel within a 20-mile radius.
- Demonstrate a compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility, errands, and appointments.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
- Observe and report changes in clients’ condition.
- Encourage independence and participation in daily activities.
