About The Position
Griswold Care Pairing is a non-medical home care registry that refers caregivers to live-in or hourly clients in the Pinehurst, North Carolina area. The organization seeks compassionate, personable, and experienced caregivers who enjoy working with seniors and want to work in a rewarding environment where their contributions are appreciated. Applicants must have at least one year of experience caring for elderly individuals. Live-in compensation is $180–$190 per day. Caregivers provide companionship and personal care, assist with daily activities and household tasks, and support clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The role also requires treating seniors and their property with dignity and respect. Candidates must meet the stated screening, health-clearance, reference, certification, and driving requirements.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience caring for elderly individuals.
- Compassionate provision of personal care, homemaking, and companion services.
- Ability to pass a national background check.
- At least four recent professional references.
- Cleared fitness-to-work assessment and TB test.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Valid auto insurance.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and conversational engagement with clients.
- Perform light housekeeping and prepare meals.
- Provide medication and appointment reminders.
- Assist clients with grooming and bathing.
- Assist with toileting and incontinence issues.
- Provide Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
- Treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
- Complete a criminal background check.
