About The Position

Always Best Care Chicagoland is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care to seniors and help them remain safe and independent in their homes. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives. The agency serves DuPage, Will, and Cook Counties. The position is in person in Addison, Illinois, with full-time, part-time, and live-in shift availability. Pay is $19–$20 per hour, with weekly pay by direct deposit and paid training.

Requirements

At least one year of caregiving or home care experience.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
Respectful and compassionate manner and good bedside manner.
Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work in the USA.
Must be reliable.
Willingness to work full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities

Provide medication reminders.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outside, including attending appointments and walks.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping as needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks clients cannot complete independently, including meal preparation.
Report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Follow the client’s care plan.
