About The Position

The Caregiver provides person-centered Home Health support to older adults in their own homes in and around the Redfield area. The role combines practical assistance with companionship to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent, while serving as a reassuring point of contact for their families. Assignments vary according to each client's needs and routines. Training is provided, and the position is open to applicants with or without prior Home Health experience.

Requirements

• A caring and respectful attitude toward older adults and their families.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to listen attentively.
• Dependability, punctuality, and sound judgment in a home setting.
• Ability to assist with mobility and transfers and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to clients in and around Redfield.
• Willingness to complete required training and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship through conversation, shared activities, and attentive engagement.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying.
• Provide medication reminders and help clients follow Home Health routines established with their families and care teams.
• Run errands, transport clients to appointments, and assist with grocery shopping.
• Observe changes in clients' conditions and promptly report concerns to appropriate staff.
• Follow individualized Home Health care plans and maintain accurate notes on daily activities.
• Provide respite for family members who provide ongoing care.
