About The Position

Meadowbrook of Racine is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents’ safety, comfort, and well-being. The role involves providing personal care, administering medication as directed, assisting with mobility and transfers, supporting social and recreational activities, monitoring residents’ health, maintaining care records, and performing light housekeeping. The position requires availability to work any shift, including every other holiday, and successful completion of a background check.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward seniors.
• Ability to lift and move safely as required.
• Understand and practice standard precautions at all times.

• Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare.
• CBRF certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Monitor residents’ health and report changes to appropriate staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping.
