About The Position

Meadowbrook of Racine is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide exceptional care to residents and contribute to a supportive, inclusive team. The role focuses on residents’ safety, comfort, health, and social and emotional well-being. The position is on the 3rd shift, from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., and includes working every other weekend and holiday.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward seniors.
• Ability to lift and move safely as required.
• Availability to work 3rd shift hours (11 p.m. to 7 a.m.), including every other weekend and holiday.
• Must pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience.
• CBRF certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Monitor residents’ health and report changes to appropriate staff.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of resident care and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Follow care plans, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Understand and practice standard precautions at all times.
