About The Position

Morada Senior Living is hiring Care Givers for one of its communities. The Care Giver provides hands-on care and physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe, comfortable, home-like environment. The position involves helping residents with daily activities and supporting their independence, dignity, and safety. Flexible scheduling options are available, including full-time and part-time hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management, and coworkers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting each resident’s dignity and physical safety.
• Participate in and assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating, as instructed.
• Engage residents in life skills and other life-enrichment activities.
• Provide residents with hands-on care and physical and emotional support.
