About The Position
Moore Care Caregiver Services is a family-owned and operated provider of in-home care based in Baton Rouge. The company seeks caregivers to provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients and offers training to its caregivers. The role is an as-needed PRN position. The caregiver will provide professional care to clients, assisting with mobility and ambulation at home and outside the home, including transportation to doctor’s appointments and walks, as well as personal care and hygiene. The ideal candidate is patient, friendly, compassionate, and able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of documented caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
- Respectful and compassionate manner.
- Good time-management skills.
- Ability to clock in and out and complete care notes on a smartphone.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ethics.
- Physical endurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the home and outside, including doctor’s appointments and walks.
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
- Follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.
- Complete care notes and clock in and out using a smartphone.
