About The Position

TerraBella Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver to provide hands-on care and physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe, comfortable, home-like environment at Morningside of Gastonia. The role is PRN, as needed. Caregivers help residents with daily living activities, support their independence and dignity, and engage them in life skills and enrichment activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management, and coworkers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting their dignity and physical safety.
• Participate in and assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating, as instructed.
• Engage residents in life skills and other life-enrichment activities.
