About The Position

Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors in Horry and Georgetown counties, South Carolina. The role helps clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life through personal care, companionship, and practical support. Flexible scheduling is available, and weekend availability may be needed for some client schedules. The listed pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional.
• Willingness to provide hands-on personal care.
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively.
• Availability to work flexible schedules.

Nice To Haves

• Weekend availability is a plus, as some client schedules may require weekend care.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a safe environment.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Encourage independence while offering compassionate support.
• Follow care plans and communicate effectively.
