About The Position

J & L Innovations, LLC provides compassionate, non-medical home care to help seniors and individuals with disabilities live safely and independently in their homes. The Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant provides supportive services that promote clients’ safety, comfort, and independence, while treating them with love, dignity, compassion, and respect. The role includes personal care, mobility and safety assistance, help with daily living, companionship, and observation and reporting. Caregivers are guided by the company’s faith-centered values, including love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, long-suffering, and self-control. Training may be provided for qualified candidates. Flexible scheduling options are available, including part-time, weekend, overnight, and live-in opportunities.

Requirements

Have reliable transportation.
Be able to pass a background screening.
Be able to assist clients with mobility.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be dependable and compassionate, and communicate clearly and respectfully.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a caregiver, CNA, home health aide, or PCA.
A heart for helping seniors and vulnerable individuals.
Value dignity and respect in caregiving.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
Support clients with walking and transfers between beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
Help prevent falls and promote client safety.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide medication reminders.
Run errands and provide transportation.
Offer companionship through conversation and engagement in activities.
Monitor clients’ well-being.
Document care activities and report concerns or health changes to supervisors.
