About The Position

TheKey is hiring an in-home caregiver in Fremont, California, for ongoing Saturday and Sunday shifts from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The role calls for strong transfer skills and experience with Hoyer lifts and Parkinson’s care. Caregivers assist clients one-on-one in their homes with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Drivers must have their own fully insured vehicle and a valid driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle registration. Full-time and part-time work are available, and the company is hiring for all shifts.

Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
At least 18 years of age.
California HCA registration, including compliance with state background requirements; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire.
Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
Valid vehicle insurance and registration.
TB clearance or a chest X-ray.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
Compliance with state background screening requirements and timely, accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment.
Strong transfer skills, Hoyer lift experience, and Parkinson’s experience are sought for this specific assignment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with dressing, grooming, and meals.
Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and go grocery shopping.
Provide companionship through games, puzzles, and other activities offering social and emotional support.
