Caregiver/Home Health Aide/CNA
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Caregivers, Personal Care Aides (PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, reliable, one-on-one support to clients in their homes in Odessa, Lees Summit, and surrounding areas in Missouri. The work focuses on assisting clients with activities of daily living and helping them live their best lives at home. Available hours vary by location. Part-time and PRN/fill-in hours are currently available, with the potential to build additional hours. The employer offers training, flexible scheduling, a supportive team, and a positive and stable working environment. Pay is $16.00 per hour for DSPs, PCAs, HHAs, and Caregivers, and $17.00 per hour for active Missouri CNAs. BAYADA is an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider and complies with applicable state and local mandates.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide light housekeeping.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
- Assist with oral feeding.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
