Caregiver/Home Health Aide/CNA
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), caregivers, Personal Care Aides (PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, reliable, one-on-one support to clients at home in California, Missouri. The work involves assisting clients with activities of daily living and home-management tasks. Available hours vary by location. The employer is currently looking to staff part-time hours and PRN/fill-in shifts, with the potential to build additional hours. Scheduling is flexible, and the employer aims to match staff with opportunities near their homes. Pay is $16.00 per hour for DSP/PCA/HHA/caregiver roles and $17.00 per hour for active Missouri CNAs. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide light housekeeping.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
- Assist with oral feeding.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform home-management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
