About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring Home Care Aides/Caregivers to provide personalized, home-based care that helps seniors live safely and happily at home. The role includes personal care, help with daily activities, companionship, and support for clients’ safety and well-being. Aides work in a 1:1 aide-to-client setting and can set their own schedule. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California.
CPR certification.
COVID-19 vaccination card.
Valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
Compassionate, helpful nature and good communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Help maintain a safe home environment by ensuring pathways are unobstructed.
Participate in enjoyable activities with clients, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
