About The Position

Senior Helpers is growing throughout El Dorado County, Amador County, and the South Lake Tahoe area, and we’re looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our team! We are currently hiring upbeat, energetic, and reliable caregivers for part-time positions. Prior caregiving experience or a CNA license is a huge plus — but absolutely not required. We will train the right candidates! Overnight shifts are available, including additional hourly differential pay.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass: Background check
• Motor vehicle record check
• Drug screening
• Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration is required for this role. If you are not currently registered, we can help guide you through the process

Nice To Haves

• Prior caregiving experience
• CNA license

Responsibilities

• Companionship and conversation.
• Transportation (errands, grocery shopping, appointments)
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Activities of daily living as needed ( Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation assistance )
• Dementia care and Memory support
