About The Position

Home Care of Indiana, LLC is seeking a part-time Caregiver/DSP to support seniors and people with disabilities in their homes. The role focuses on improving clients’ quality of life and helping maintain a safe, comfortable living environment. The available shift is every Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Greenwood, Indiana 46227. Compensation is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• CPR certification; certification may be obtained through the agency.
• A negative TB skin test.
• A driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• A patient, compassionate, respectful, reliable, and ethical approach to care.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene and dressing.
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Perform light housekeeping.
