About The Position
Assisting Hands Deerfield is seeking caregivers in the Lake County area. Caregivers help clients with companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. The role offers weekday and weekend shifts, including morning and daytime shifts, with an immediate start. Starting pay is $19.50 to $22 per hour, with weekly pay. Hours over 40 and holiday hours are paid at time and a half. The company also offers 24/7 team support, bonus and referral programs, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Comfortable helping both male and female clients.
- Experience assisting with personal care.
- No restrictions concerning type of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship through conversation, playing games, and watching TV with clients.
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide medication reminders.
