About The Position

At Home Care of Kentucky is a provider of non-medical, in-home services in Kentucky. Caregivers assist clients with daily activities they cannot fully complete independently and provide practical support and companionship. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Have knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, housekeeping, cooking, and personal care services.
Willingness to follow health, safety, confidentiality, and other company standards.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and perform job-related duties.
Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Be supportive, compassionate, and respectful of all persons.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including ambulation, dressing, personal care, hygiene, and eating.
Help clients move around their homes and outside, including attending doctor's appointments and taking walks.
Plan and prepare meals and, when needed, assist clients with serving and eating them.
Complete clients' shopping or accompany them while they shop.
Perform light housekeeping tasks clients cannot complete independently.
Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
Report unusual incidents to the office immediately.
