About The Position

At Home Care of Kentucky is seeking a Caregiver/CNA to provide non-medical, in-home assistance to clients in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The role supports people who are unable to fully care for themselves, helping with daily activities, mobility, meals, shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship. Training for certification is provided at no cost to candidates without experience. The position pays $16–$18 per hour. The company offers flexible scheduling, paid time off, and parental leave.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Know or be willing to learn housekeeping activities, cooking, and personal care services.
Adhere to health, safety, confidentiality, and other company standards.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and physically perform job-related duties.
Demonstrate the ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Be supportive, compassionate, and respectful of all persons.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living they cannot fully complete independently, including ambulation, dressing, personal care, hygiene, eating, and visiting friends.
Help clients move around their homes or outside, including for appointments and walks.
Plan and prepare meals and, when needed, help clients serve and eat them.
Complete clients’ shopping or accompany them while they shop.
Perform light housekeeping duties clients cannot complete on their own.
Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
Report unusual incidents to the office immediately.
