About The Position

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner (CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in a supportive team environment. The role assists residents with activities of daily living and supports their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence, protecting privacy, and respecting dignity. Care Partners also encourage resident engagement and companionship and help maintain a supportive, nurturing community.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid state CNA or HCA license, as required by state regulations.
Current First Aid and CPR license, or ability to obtain them.
At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Experience with memory care.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, as needed, while following community protocols, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines.
Promote residents’ independence and provide emotional support through compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
Encourage and assist residents in participating in life enrichment activity programs.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
