CNA/HCA/Caregiver
About The Position
Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable CNA, HCA, or Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Everett, Washington. The role supports the client’s comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life. The caregiver provides essential support with daily living activities and helps create a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment. The caregiver works independently, follows the client’s care plan, and communicates with the family and care team as needed. This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week, with a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Other shifts may also be available. Compensation is $21.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment. Health insurance, PTO, sick leave, and a 401(k) are offered subject to applicable eligibility requirements and plan terms. Training and professional development opportunities are also provided.
Requirements
- Current, active Washington State CNA or HCA credential, as applicable to the position.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, as required.
- Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to caregiving.
- Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
- Basic housekeeping and meal preparation skills.
- Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform the physical duties required for caregiving.
- Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
- No driver’s license or personal vehicle is required.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and dressing as needed.
- Support safe ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
- Provide medication reminders as directed.
- Assist with prescribed exercises and recommended activities.
- Provide companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Assist with daily routines and activities.
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition or behavior.
- Communicate effectively with the client, family, and care team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and unusual situations.
