About The Position

Cogir Senior Living is hiring a Care Partner (CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in a senior living community. The role supports residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence, comfort, safety, privacy, and dignity. Care Partners work as part of a team to maintain a supportive and nurturing environment. The listed salary range is $19.00–$22.00.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid state CNA or HCA license, as required by state regulations.
Current First Aid and CPR license, or ability to obtain one.
At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with memory care is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring as needed, following community protocols, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines.
Promote residents’ independence and emotional well-being through compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
Encourage and assist residents to participate in life enrichment activity programs.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
