About The Position
Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver (CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in a senior living community. The role supports residents with activities of daily living while promoting their independence, comfort, safety, privacy, dignity, and well-being. Caregivers work as part of a team to help maintain a supportive and nurturing environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state CNA or HCA license, as required by state regulations.
- Current First Aid and CPR license, or the ability to obtain them.
- At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
- Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
- Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
- Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

- Experience with memory care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring as needed, following community protocols, licensing regulations, and resident and employee safety guidelines.
- Promote residents’ independence and emotional well-being through compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
- Encourage and assist residents to participate in life enrichment activity programs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
- Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
