About The Position

HomeWell Care is hiring caregivers to support seniors and homebound individuals in San Mateo County, California, and surrounding communities. Caregivers help clients live with dignity, independence, and safety in their own homes. Open roles include hourly, 12-hour, and 24-hour caregiving positions. Compensation is $20.00–$25.00 per hour. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

• HCA certification; CNA license preferred.
• Caregiving experience: six months full-time or 12 months part-time.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate heart.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance if transporting clients.
• Current TB test.
• Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks.
• Trustworthiness, punctuality, and maturity.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Nice To Haves

• CNA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals.
• Support safe mobility and transportation to appointments.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Follow safety protocols in emergencies.
• Engage clients in activities they enjoy to promote wellness.
