About The Position
HomeWell Care is hiring Home Care Aides to support seniors and homebound individuals in San Mateo County, California, and surrounding communities. Caregivers help clients live with dignity, independence, and safety in their own homes. Open roles include hourly, 12-hour, and 24-hour caregiving. Requirements
- HCA certification.
- Six months of full-time caregiving experience or 12 months of part-time caregiving experience.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate disposition.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance if transporting clients.
- Current TB test.
- Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks.
- Trustworthiness, punctuality, and maturity.
Nice To Haves
- CNA license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals.
- Support safe mobility and transportation to appointments.
- Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
- Follow safety protocols during emergencies.
- Engage clients in activities they enjoy to promote wellness.
