About The Position

University Career Services is seeking a temporary Career and Employer Relations Specialist to join their team on the Atlanta campus. This role supports employers looking to hire students for internships and other career opportunities, and assists students and recent alumni in clarifying educational goals and career selection. The specialist will also support career fairs and events to connect students with job opportunities.

Requirements

Master's degree and three years of related experience or a combination of education and related experience.

Responsibilities

Promote partnerships, collaborations, and positive relationships to promote the work of university career services to employers, students, and the Georgia State community.
Develop and maintain relationships with employers.
Mount career-related events such as career and job fairs, panels, and networking to connect students with employers.
Contribute to the identification of new employers for internships and career opportunities.
Maintain accurate student records and collect data for reporting purposes while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Provide job search skills, career exploration, and career search strategies to individual students and groups.
Develop and conduct career-related presentations using various delivery formats for academic classes, student organizations, and other related campus units.
Participate fully in the overall activities of university career services.
Performs other related duties as required.
