About The Position
Calyx Living is hiring 3rd Shift Care Staff for its new assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex, located in Apex near I-540 and Hwy 64. Care Staff assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs. Duties include monitoring residents’ self-administration of medication, ensuring resident hygiene, obtaining and recording vital signs, maintaining resident safety, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services, and observing residents for changes in condition.
Requirements
- Caregiver experience is strongly preferred.
- Compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
- Reliable, responsive, and attentive.
- Must be at least 18 years old and demonstrate maturity.
- Must be available to work weekends.
