About The Position
Calyx Living is seeking Care Staff for the third shift at its new assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex. The role supports residents with personal care needs and provides direction as needed. Duties include monitoring residents’ self-administration of medication, supporting hygiene, obtaining and recording vital signs, maintaining resident safety, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services, and observing residents for changes in condition. Weekend availability is required.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older and demonstrate maturity.
- Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
- Must be reliable, responsive, and attentive.
- Must be available to work weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiver experience is strongly preferred.
