About The Position

Calyx Living is seeking energetic Care Staff for 2nd/3rd shifts at its assisted living community in North Durham. The position assists and provides direction to residents with personal care needs, including monitoring self-administration of medication, supporting resident hygiene, obtaining and recording vital signs, maintaining resident safety, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services, and observing residents for changes in condition. A safety-first attitude toward residents and staff is required.

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Strong sense of maturity.
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
• Trustworthy and attentive.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have a safety-first attitude toward residents and staff.

• Caregiver experience is strongly preferred.
