About The Position
Calyx Living is seeking energetic 2nd/3rd Shift Care Staff for its assisted living community in North Durham. The role assists and provides direction to residents with personal care needs, supports resident safety, and observes residents for changes in condition. Staff must maintain a safety-first attitude toward residents and colleagues.
Requirements
- Caregiver experience is strongly preferred.
- Compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Strong sense of maturity.
- Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
- Trustworthy and attentive.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must have a safety-first attitude toward residents and staff.

- Caregiver experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs.
- Monitor residents’ self-administration of medication.
- Ensure resident hygiene.
- Obtain and record residents’ vital signs.
- Maintain resident safety.
- Complete incident reports.
- Assist with meal services.
- Observe residents for changes in condition.
