About The Position

Care.com is seeking an empathetic, solutions-oriented After Hours Care Specialist to support members by phone, email, and chat. The role helps families navigate care solutions, corporate benefits, and urgent crisis resources during evenings and weekends. The position is remote for candidates in the Dallas, Texas area. The scheduled hours are in Central Time: Monday and Tuesday off; Wednesday from 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Compensation is $19.23–$24.00 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on factors including work location, experience, and performance. Other compensation may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. Requirements

2–4+ years of customer or client service experience, preferably in a human services field such as social work or public health.
High emotional intelligence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong multitasking skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be reliable, adapt to change, and remain open to continuous coaching.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Respond to inbound member calls, emails, and chats with empathy and professionalism.
Guide members to mental health resources, including Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and provide resources for urgent shelter, food, or crisis situations.
Verify member eligibility and accurately document interactions in the CRM system.
Meet or exceed daily and weekly performance KPIs, including service level agreements and customer satisfaction scores.
