About The Position

We are looking for someone to be an “Advocate of Empathy,” responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments. The role also involves being “Proactive” with assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age
  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information
  • Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall
  • Must be criminally cleared

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care
